Easy-to-clean coatings
Using PACVD processes at atmospheric pressure TiO2 thin films can be deposited onto different substrate materials. These films show excellent photocatalytic behaviour. The films can be applied with different film thickness onto plane substrates like float glass or metal surfaces. The decomposition rates of organic matter on glass surfaces are in the range above 100% compared to Pilkington Activ® glass.
