The 11th Theme Days on Interfacial and Surface Engineering with 10th Thuringian Biomaterials Colloquium

from 15 - 17 September 2015 at the Bio-Seehotel Zeulenroda

From September 15 - 17, 2015, the 11th Theme Days on Interfacial and Surface Engineering together with the 10th Thuringian Biomaterials Colloquium took place in Zeulenroda. 200 experts from research and industry attended the event and were able to learn about various topics from the fields of surface engineering and biomaterials in 60 short lectures and 39 poster presentations. Especially the workshop "Antimicrobial Surfaces" on September 16, 2015 aroused great interest among the participants. The second day of the event was complemented by the networking forum, which promoted an interactive exchange on current challenges in surface technology. In addition to the conference facilities, the venue at the Bio-Seehotel Zeulenroda provided the ideal setting for two lively evening events. The theme days were rounded off by an accompanying industrial exhibition, where 15 exhibitors presented their products and services.
