The 13th Interfacial and Surface Engineering Theme Days with 11th Biomaterials Colloquium
from 13 - 15 March 2018 at the Bio-Seehotel Zeulenroda
From March 13 - 15, 2018, the 13th Theme Days on Interfacial and Surface Engineering together with the 11th Biomaterials Colloquium took place in Zeulenroda. Around160 experts from research and industry attended the event and were able to learn about various topics in the fields of surface engineering and biomaterials in 8 keynotes, 56 short lectures and nearly 40 poster presentations. In addition to the conference facilities, the Bio-Seehotel Zeulenroda provided the ideal setting for the first evening event with the lecture "Newton - How an Asshole Invented the Universe" by Florian Freistetter followed by the poster award ceremony. The participants spent the 2nd evening in a rustic atmosphere in the festival barn in Stelzendorf. The theme days were rounded off by an accompanying industrial exhibition, where 15 exhibitors presented their products and services.
