The 2nd Thuringian Border and Surface Days

on 13 and 14 September 2006 in Oberhof

More than 220 participants, mainly from industry, showed broad interest in this topic. In 80 lectures including poster presentations with international participation from a wide range of materials areas gave the participants new impulses for their work in production and research. In 5 divided sessions with short presentations, mainly practice-relevant topics were dealt with and lively discussed. The chosen conference venue in Oberhof - on the heights of the Thuringian Forest - also gave participants the opportunity to make new contacts for cooperation between industry and research institutions in pleasant surroundings.
