The 6th Thuringian Boundary and Surface Days with 2nd Optics Colloquium "Thin Films in Optics

from 07 - 09 September 2010 at the penta Hotel Gera

For the sixth time by now, the Thuringian Boundary and Surface Days, this year in conjunction with the second Thuringian Colloquium Thin Films in Optics, took place in the eastern Thuringian city of Gera from September 7 to 9. More than 230 experts from research and industry in the fields of surface technology and optics attended the conference, and learned about various topics in more than 100 short talks and poster presentations. This year, the focus was on the one hand on coating by means of atmospheric pressure plasma, which is why the sixth workshop of the user group atmospheric pressure plasma (ak-adp) had been integrated into the event. The conference was rounded off by an industrial exhibition in which 22 equipment manufacturers presented their products.
