The open alliance for the protection of cultural assets "Forum Inn-O-Kultur" enjoys growing popularity.
On April 26, the 4th workshop of the Forum will take place at the German Historical Museum in Berlin. The topic is "Non-destructive testing and analysis methods in restoration and surface technology".
More than 70 experts from the fields of restoration, conservation, materials science, physics, chemistry and monument preservation have already registered - a sign that the interdisciplinary approach of bringing the sectors of cultural heritage protection and surface technology more closely into dialogue is successful.
Forum Inn-O-Kultur was founded in Weimar in 2015. Its goal is to jointly develop solutions for the protection of art and cultural assets, integrate existing know-how of experienced experts, and pave the way for new research collaborations. The network welcomes suggestions for venues, collaborations and topics for upcoming colloquia. The Forum Inn-O-Kultur is based on an initiative of INNOVENT.
